Lampo Annex to Open

This fall Lampo will open its first annex space—a spot for artist talks and a place where the organization can tend to, and the public can experience, its archive collection.

In its near 20-year history Lampo has amassed a significant collection of sound and video recordings, photographs and artists’ papers, documenting hundreds of performances. With this new space, located in the Monadnock Building, Lampo will have its first proper home to organize and provide access to these materials. Work on the archive will be guided by a preservation assessment funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Lampo also will look forward to hosting artist talks and workshops in the annex.

Member support makes all things at Lampo possible. We invite you to pitch in to help us launch and sustain these new activities.
